4 Kingdom Street

4 Kingdom Street will be a new office building, located opposite the Novotel hotel beside 2 Kingdom Street. Check back each month for the latest construction progress.

Work is due to start on site in late February and is expected to finish in the first quarter of 2017.

Public Realm Improvements

Some exciting changes are planned to enhance the existing public spaces, focusing on changes to the entrance ways to enhance the access routes through the campus with new paving, green walls and better lighting, along with improvements to the canal side and to Sheldon Square.

Cycle for Centrepoint

Wednesday 1st April

Centrepoint is challenging Paddington staff to see how many miles they can cycle in 30 seconds! Representatives from Centrepoint will be in the amphitheatre from 11am-2pm on Wed 1st April. Come and see how far you can cycle on a static bike in 30 seconds and there will be a prize for the winner! They will also have information on how you can take part in the Olympic legacy 100 mile cycle event, The Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 in August. Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity, providing housing and support to over 8,400 of the UK’s most vulnerable 16-25 year olds each year. Potsu at Paddington Central

Itsu has launched a new vegetarian Potsu called Greens, Grains & Glory across all of their stores including Paddington Central. This yummy Potsu contains a delicious “Glory Burger” (roast veg, chickpea, toasted nuts & Thai seasoning with sesame crust) crowned by a runny poached egg, baby spinach, green leek, petit pois, brown & red rice with ithai sauce.

Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th May

The May Day weekend, the Canal Cavalcade will be returning to the Paddington Waters. From Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th May, hundreds of boaters will be visiting Paddington to take part in competitions and parades.
