Development Securities PLC, the leading property development and investment company, announces today that 92,000 sq. ft. at its One Kingdom Street, PaddingtonCentral development, funded by Morley Fund Management and Union Investment, have been placed under offer to Vodafone.
With practical completion of the construction of One Kingdom Street having been reached as recently as 19th February 2008, completion of this letting and that of Statoil UK Ltd announced on 9th June will take the occupancy level within the building to 85 per cent of the available space.

One Kingdom Street is the most recently completed building at Development Securities’ and Morley’s PaddingtonCentral mixed use development. 74,000 sq ft has been leased to Misys PLC, the global software and solutions company and 53,000 sq ft to Statoil UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Statoil Hydro ASA, one of the world’s largest crude oil and gas suppliers. With Vodafone now under offer, only one and a half floors remain at One Kingdom Street, totaling 37,000 sq ft.
