Disappointing. Room potentially very nice but lots of maintenance needed, for example blocked sink, shower fittings falling off. Breakfast very expensive, worked out at £10/slice of toast and chef clearly didn't know how to make toast. External work not an issue

Lakshmisree was absolutely wonderful. Wow Novotel for having the best staff member who care so very much about customers and colleagues - Lakshmisree was so very attentive and passionate about the drinks being served, our interests and we didn’t want to leave the bar as we could talk to her all night. I had booked the room two months in advance via a phone call with the reservation center, during which I specifically inquired about the type of room I desired. However, upon arrival, my request was not fulfilled. Instead, the staff questioned how they could reserve the room for me if the previous guest had requested an extension of their stay. I found this response to be inadequate in terms of managing their work and reservations. However, towards the end of the conversation, another staff member intervened and offered me one of the corner rooms that I had originally requested, albeit from a different perspective. I accepted the alternative arrangement. Before leaving the hotel, I visited the bar to receive my welcome drink. Due to being busy earlier, I hadn't had the opportunity to obtain it. Consequently, I was unsure about the options available. Upon requesting to view the menu or see what was available, the staff permitted me to approach the counter. However, I remained near the entrance of the bar counter to make my selection. After choosing my welcome drink, as I was about to depart, a staff member, potentially a supervisor in the area, instructed me to leave (he said “come out”) with a harsh tone. Such a tone was inappropriate for addressing a customer, in my opinion. I believe staff members should be mindful of their choice of words and tone when interacting with customers, regardless of the circumstances.

Staff was very welcoming, the hotel was well located, and the fitness center is a real selling point. To be improved: the breakfast lacks diversity (no yogurt, only 1 fruit option, etc) and the rooms could do with more electric outlets.

Quiet location, main attractions within 30 minutes tube ride.

Nice clean modern hotel for a short stay. Good room, if a little hot as A/C didn't seem to be working. Our niece loved having the large pull-out sofabed to herself. A fantastic on-site pool that our niece adored.
