The Sessions: Learn To Ferment

We've partnered with Square Mile Farms who operate the farm on the rooftop of 2 Kingdom Street to bring the latest trend of fermenting to The Sessions at Storey Club events programme.

Fermented foods are rich in beneficial probiotics and are associated with a wide range of benefits such as improved digestion and stronger immunity. A wide variety of foods can be fermented - yoghurt into kefir, cabbage into sauerkraut and fruit into kvaas - to name a few. Adding herbs and spices such as turmeric or cinnamon will give your ferment a real boost in health benefits.

Join us to have a hands on introduction to fermenting. The team will provide you with the tools and knowledge you'll need to start experimenting with the latest food trend at home. All the produce used in the workshop will be fresh from the rooftop farm on site.

Date: 27 February
Time: Arrive from 6pm, workshop is 6.15-7.15pm
Cost: EARLY BIRD DEAL - book by 31 January for £20 tickets (usually £30)
Location: Storey Club

About Square Mile Farms
Square Mile Farms are on a mission to bring farming to the workplace. They install vertical farms and productive green spaces in workspaces so individuals can take home deliciously fresh produce every day. All of the farm's produce is grown in a controlled environment using hydroponics and vertical growing techniques, which means it can optimise space use, maximise yields, reduce waste and grow healthy, happy, nutritious plants – all without competing with natural habitats.

27 February, 6.-7.30pm
