Set off from Paddington Central and see London in style
GoBoat is one of London’s legendary must-try experiences – with no boating experience necessary you can hire a self-drive boat and visit Little Venice, the 249m Maida Hill Tunnel, Regent's Park, London Zoo and Camden Lock. From a day out with friends and family on a sunny weekend to seeing your work team safely outdoors and in person, the eco-friendly electric Go Boats are an inspired, fun and Covid-safe activity when you’re looking for things to do near Paddington, the Regent’s Canal and Regent’s Park.
The best bit is you’re the captain (you can pick up a GoBoat from Paddington keeping a safe distance from staff who will show you how to drive the boats and watch you practise in Paddington Basin) and you choose the route:
- £79 for one hour will take you to through Little Venice and the Maida Vale tunnel
- £119 for two hours (the perfect time) will let you cruise through Regent’s Park and spot the animals at London Zoo
- £159 for three hours will take you all the way to Camden Lock
You’ll also be given a handy map and guide to sailing the lock. All routes start and stop at Paddington – so you can then enjoy drinks and food at one of Paddington Central’s incredible bars, cafes and restaurants (including our floating Darcie & May Green, London Shell Co and The Grand Duchess).
