Don't miss this year's IWA Canalside Cavalcade, which takes place at Little Venice over the early May Bank Holiday weekend, from 5-7th May 2018.
It's set to be the capital's biggest, brightest and best waterways festival with activities for all the family, including a pageant of boats, shops and craft stalls, live music, kids’ activities, competitions, Morris Dancers, a real ale bar and a wide variety of delicious food and drink outlets – all extending along Warwick Crescent and the towpaths towards Paddington Station, onto the Paddington Stone Wharf, in Rembrandt Gardens and the Amphitheatre in Sheldon Square.
Over 120 boats will be at the festival and you can take in a selection of diverse boats including historic, residential and working narrowboats, cruisers and dutch barges.
There is a packed programme of events both on and off the water. Come on Saturday and you’ll be treated to a themed pageant of decorated boats; on Sunday there will be boat handling competitions and an evening procession of illuminated boats; on Monday there will be more boat handling contents and a parade of historic and working boats.
Children’s activities include kayaking, a teddy bear’s picnic, Mylo the Mime Artist and Punch & Judy in Rembrandt Gardens.
Come and join in the fun at this unique event!
