World Book Day: it's not just for kids. We're excited to welcome students from three local schools to the Paddington Central Book Pavilion for World Book Day, but that doesn't mean the grown ups can't get involved too.
Starting on Monday 4 March, we’ll be leaving beautifully wrapped parcels of books (supplied by the National Literacy Trust) around campus for occupiers and visitors to find daily until World Book Day on Thursday 7 March. Some you'll find hidden in plain sight, others will be tucked away in secret spots.
Wrapped in the colours of Paddington Central, we want to share as many books as possible with the gift tag: “You found me, now I’m yours. Take me, read me and when you’re finished with me; leave me for the next person to enjoy at the Paddington Central Book Pavilion outside 2 Kingdom Street.”
Keep an eye out on our social media feeds in the days leading up to World Book Day for hints and tips on where to look. And if you’re lucky enough to find a book parcel, please share your love of reading with us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook using #PaddingtonCentral.
