New Barges by Daisy Green Collection

Arriving this November two new barges will launch on the Grand Union Canal, the latest project from award-winning restaurant group Daisy Green Collection.  Following careful handcrafted refurbishment, they have been exclusively designed by legendary British pop artist Sir Peter Blake, best known for co-creating the sleeve design for the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Transformed into vibrant and buzzing all day dining destinations on the water, one will be a restaurant and the other a combined café and exhibition space celebrating the Paddington area.

Permanently moored opposite Exit 3 of Paddington station, the restaurant, Darcie Green, will offer a fresh and distinctive Antipodean-inspired menu. By night the barge will transform  into a buzzing space offering Aussie dinner favourites, contemporary cocktails and an array of natural New World wines and local craft beers - the ideal spot for winter feasting and Christmas parties.

The second boat, May Green, will house a café and floating exhibition centre showcasing Paddington’s rich history via interactive displays and anecdotes. Appealing to families, residents and visitors, the space will provide the perfect caffeine pit stop, as well as local area information.

Drop by our new arrivals which will be open to the public from late November.
