Stuck for somewhere to have a meeting or a quick catch-up? Here are some of our favourite meeting places in and around Paddington Central.
Paddington Central W2 6BD
Given the capriciousness of the English weather, it’s a brave soul who’d suggest an outdoor meeting too far in advance. But if you’re feeling confident and there are no rain clouds in sight, then there’s no better place than the landscaped green space at Paddington Central. With an abundance of seasonal plants, overhanging trees and fragrant herbs, Kingdom Street has become a truly tranquil space. Wooden seating provides the perfect perch for a lunchtime meeting, or the inspiring spot you need when brainstorming with the team.

With huge tables, bright sunlight and a vast selection of street-food inspired menus (incredible burgers from Patty & Bun, delicious duck from Canard, Vietnamese bao and grills from MAM and Yucatan’s south Mexican-inspired flavours) to suit every preference, Pergola at Paddington might be one of the most brilliant locations in London to brainstorm, organise and chat. Plus, they take bookings for up to 199 people – now that’s what we call a meeting space.
Sheldon Square Amphitheatre
Sheldon Square, Paddington Central
A lovely green space in the very heart of Paddington Central, the amphitheatre is a great place to meet. With lots of room to make yourself comfortable, sunlight and fresh air, it’s the perfect place to feel re-energised. Plus, while you’re out, grab a bite from one of the nearby Street Dots surrounding the amphitheatre and call it a working lunch.
Making their debut on campus last year and designed to provide a quiet haven in the busiest of locations, our Seed Pods are for everyone at Paddington Central to enjoy. You can use them for meetings – they seat up to five people, creating an optimal environment for collaboration and conversation – socialising or simply just to take a few quiet moments to reflect.

3 Kingdom Street, Paddington Central W2 6BD
A great choice if you’re welcoming visitors from out of town – it’s located just behind Paddington station, making it easily accessible to the tube and to the Heathrow Express – and the hotel’s gold, copper and bronze facade, designed by Dexter Moren Associates, is easy to spot from the station. It’s easy to book, there are booths for one-to-ones or virtual meetings and plenty of room. The delightful modern-British menu is an added bonus for those that love a leisurely lunchtime get-together.
4 Sheldon Square, Paddington Central W2 6EZ
If you need a space away from the office, the Union has plenty of room for informal meetings during working hours and plenty of big tables to spread your graphs, charts and laptops out on. Book a table in advance or just turn up – there’s free wifi, a great selection of coffees and soft drinks and – if the meeting’s going better than anticipated – a very well stocked bar too.
